Chestnut Bakery is all about celebrating the ‘golden age of bread making’, with its chefs perfecting the basic bread loaf while incorporating international baking traditions all at the same time.
Hailing from London, where you’ll find queues out the door for its freshly-baked goods, we’ve been known to go wild for its honey toast with gaymar, doughy flatbreads and scones with house jam and whipped cream, while sweet and savoury pastries can also be picked up to-go from a charming display.

Zooba

Designed to reflect a simple yet flavoursome form of eating at reasonable prices, the eatery elevates the usual dining experience in an edgy space without pretension. Don’t feel shy about digging in hands first – it’s how everyone else does it when it come to breakfast in Riyadh.

While the name might suggest this is the spot for lunch, Lunchroom is also the it-spot for brekkie and brunch. Open from 7am to 2pm, you’ll need to rise with the bird to enjoy this delish spot and we promise it’s worth it.
Brought to the capital from Kuwait, the popular spot has savoury and sweet picks including eggs, labneh and croissants.
Meez The House
Meez the House serves up funky Middle Eastern dishes in Hittin. Using unique cooking techniques from across the region, you can enjoy riffs on plates you won’t find anywhere else.
To start the day, there’s a crunchy smoked makdous, falafel skewers, beef rolls and Belgian French toast. When it comes to breakfast in Riyadh, this place is a stunner.
