Saudi cinema ticket prices have been reduced

Another cinema has lowered its prices

Grab a slushie and a large popcorn: Saudi cinema tickets have been reduced.

On Monday April 22, 2024, the Film Commission revealed that a hefty reduction in Saudi cinema tickets was underway and VOX is the second cinemas brand to announce reduced prices.

After a significant drop in film licensing fees was announced, home-grown brand Muvi Cinemas took it upon itself to be the first to drop its prices – announcing new permanently lowered prices on Instagram in May 2024.

Sit back and relax. Here is everything you need to know about the new Saudi cinema tickets.

Get ready to catch your fave stars in action on the big screen with VOX’s reduced ticket prices. In May 2024, the brand has announced that its standard tickets will permanently be available for SAR35 from now on. With a total of 18 cinemas across Saudi, you can head down to Via Riyadh, ROSHN Front and the ever-packed Kingdom Centre to check out flicks for the sweet new price. Reduced ticket prices

As mentioned previously, the pocket-friendly prices have been introduced as part of the Film Commission’s significant step towards lowered film licensing fees for cinemas across Saudi. The new fees apply to permanent and temporary cinemas. What’s more, the Commission is also urging cinemas to release more promotions to make the movie-going experience more affordable for everyone. Talk about a win-win.

While Muvi Cinemas and VOX are the first brands to introduce lowered prices, more cinemas are bound to follow. Keep an eye on Time Out for the latest updates.
