The Chairman for the General Entertainment Authority Turki Al AlSheikh originally announced the dates of Riyadh Season 2024 on Tuesday August 6, 2024 on X.
And with the excitement of the opening of the season, comes of the thrill of its many attractions and zones – Boulevard World included.
While the stunner of an attraction, taking visitors on a journey across the world without ever leaving the Saudi capital, closed its doors in May, residents and visitors alike are already wondering ‘when will Boulevard World open for Riyadh Season?’.
But, fret not. Boulevard World has some good news for you, too. The popular zone is officially returning to Riyadh Season.
Boulevard World will reopen on Sunday October 13 following the official start of Riyadh Season 2024 on Saturday October 12.
What’s even better is that Boulevard World is getting five new zones, including a Saudi Arabia area. It will also host even more events. We’re also getting 300 restaurants, 1,400 shops and 21 new activities. Phew.
Here’s what you can expect.
What is Boulevard World?
Boulevard World was one of the highlights of Riyadh Season 2023. The zone had a massive opening night on Thursday November 2 with a bopping Riyadh season concert. The returning zone was a favourite because of its many country zones and attractions.
During Riyadh Season 2023, the zone was open daily from 4pm to 1am and had loads of fun and family-friendly attractions.
Imagine yourself indulging in enchiladas in Mexico and perusing the Pyramids in Egypt, without leaving the capital. Take a gondola ride in Venice, stroll past white-washed house in Greece, admire the Eiffel Tower in France and so much more. That’s exactly what you’ll find here at Boulevard World in Riyadh.
From travelling around the world without leaving your capital to riding cool rides for some of that coveted adrenaline rush, Boulevard World had a bit of everything for everyone.

For Riyadh Season 2024, Boulevard World will be open from 4pm to 1am daily.

Boulevard World tickets
Boulevard World tickets have gone live on webook.com. You can pick up weekday tickets from SAR30 and weekend tickets from SAR40.
You can also book your tickets for Boulevard World attractions, including Boulevard Forest, Oasis, Doll’s Trip and Mystery of the Nile. Prices vary depending on the activity.

Abdul Majeed Abdullah took the stage back in November 2023, playing his melodies for the opening night concert, with people both attending and live streaming the concert.

Boulevard World zone, in numbers
The massive zone came back 40 percent bigger in 2023 than the previous year (we weren’t kidding when we said Saudi does things big). Considered one of the largest areas of Riyadh Season and built in just 82 days, the popular zone included four areas covering an area of one million square metres.
The areas included a record-breaking shopping area with over 1,180 shops, 120 restaurants and cafés and concerts and shows.
Boulevard World sub-zones and activities
The zone was a world in of itself with different countries to explore. You wouldn’t have needed to pack a suitcase for this trip. You could “travel” to France, China, Mexico, America, India, Morocco, Spain, Italy, Greece and more without heading through customs.
The zone also had a cable car connecting visitors from Boulevard City. It also had the world’s largest artificial lake and theme park rides.

For those looking for a little bit of immersive and interactive fun, Boulevard World brought activities for the whole family to enjoy, from escape rooms to playdates and more. Here’s what 2023 brought:
Cocomelon Playdate
Cocomelon Playdate was a fun way for you and your little ones to interact with their favourite cartoon characters in an engaging environment.

Here, you had to race against the sands of time as you solved riddles, outsmarted booby traps and more to escape with your life from the ancient Egyptian mummy’s tomb.

Hotel Horror
Welcome to Hotel Horror, check-in time now, check-out time never – just kidding. Here, you could enter the hotel of horrors and try to escape with nothing but your wits while uncovering the secrets that linger behind creepy closed doors.

King Tut Museum
If you were tired of the jump scares and terrors, you could head into the immersive and interactive museum of one of the greatest archaeological discoveries of all time, the tomb of King Tut.

Mummy Quest
If you felt like being archaeologists yourselves after the King Tut experience, then this one was the attraction for you. Here, you could decipher the secrets of an ancient cemetery and leg it out of the Lost Temple in Mummy Quest.

At this one, you could match strides with Optimus Prime and the Power Rangers in this Hasbro Universe experience. You could also interact with all your favourite characters including My Little Pony and the hippo from Hungry Hippo.

The Island of Dolls
And adventure where if dolls give you the creeps, you might have wanted to stay away from this island where in order to leave you had to free spirits that have been trapped within deformed dolls.
