Grab your staycay carry-on – two new hotels are coming to Riyadh.
The lush new hotels include the Regent Riyadh KAFD and InterContinental Riyadh KAFD both set to open in 2027.
IHG Hotels & Resorts signed an agreement with King Abdullah Financial District Management and Development Company (KAFD DMC) – work on the hotels is set to begin by the end of 2024.
The new KAFD hotels will be joining the IHG group’s first Kimpton hotel in the district.
Here’s everything you need to know so far.
Regent Riyadh KAFD
Regent Riyadh KAFD is set open in 2027, marking the debut entrance of the IHG Regent-brand in Saudi – it will be eco-friendly and LEED-certified.
If you’re wondering what’s on the inside, the property will have 250 rooms, speciality and signature restaurants, a tea lounge as well as cafés and fitness facilities.
To wind down, visitors will be able to enjoy the Regent Spa and host larger events at the grand ballroom, meeting rooms, and VIP and bridal suites.
InterContinental Riyadh KAFD
The second of the two KAFD hotels, InterContinental Riyadh KAFD will be slightly bigger than the Regent Riyadh, boasting a total of 400 keys, five eateries, meeting rooms, fitness areas, a pool and spa facilities to recharge at.
Keep checking Time Out for the latest updates.
