Are you ready for Riyadh Season 2024? The new season has officially begun.
The new Saudi Season started with a massive Riyadh Season 2024 opening ceremony featuring Busta Rhymes, Ciara, Missy Elliott and a gigantic fight all at Kingdom Arena.
The first Riyadh Season 2024 event was announced back in July 2024 – and the official dates for the Saudi Season were revealed for Saturday October 12, 2024, according a post on X by Turki Al AlSheikh.
The new season hosted African Super Cup finals in September, which had the capital in full footie-swing a month before the full launch of Riyadh Season.
The fun is just starting. We can also expect 14 zones, including a Harry Potter zone, and the return of Boulevard World, with the zone being bigger and better than ever.
Riyadh Season will also feature 100 festivals and exhibitions pus 11 international championships. The news was shared on August 28. Are you ready?

Riyadh Season 2024
Riyadh Season 2024 dates
As of Tuesday August 6, 2024, the official start-date for the season will kick-off in the city on Saturday October 12, 2024, while the African Super Cup finals will be held on Friday September 27.

Many Riyadh Season zones from 2023 are returning. One of the most exciting things is Wonder Garden is back for Riyadh Season 2024.

Wondering what the free Riyadh Season 2024 zones are? There will be three free Riyadh Season zones: Riyadh Zoo, Suwaidi Park and Souq Al Awaleen.
New Riyadh Season Zones 2024
The new zones are Boulevard Runway, BLVD Business Park, Dunes of Arabia, Studio Tour and The Venue.
BLVD Business Park is an extension of Boulevard City and will the headquarters of numerous companies.
Dunes of Arabia is for everyone who wants to enjoy the great outdoors during a Riyadh winter. Get ready for dune buggy rides and drifting.
The Venue is a brand-new zone for Riyadh Season 2024 and it will be built in just 50 days. (The countdown is on.) The venue will host the Six King Slam tennis championship and the Joy Awards. The WWE Crown Jewel and RAW will also be happening at the new spot.
The Studio Tour zone is definitely one for film buffs. You’ll be able to learn about the entire filmmaking process, from scriptwriting to editing to sound-editing. Constructed in just 120 days, the Al Hisn Big Time Studios will cover everything from crafting stories to creating large-scale productions.
Riyadh Season events
African Super Cup
The event will be returning later this year. Announced by the Saudi General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Saturday July 13, the event will be hosting the African Super Cup, which is the finals between giant Egyptian football teams Al Ahly and Zamalek later this year.
Riyadh Season opening ceremony: IV Crown Showdown
That’s not all. The opening card fight for the season took place at Kingdom Arena. The IV Crown Showdown saw Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol battle it out in the ring. It also brought an Undercard of 14 boxers going glove-to-glove across seven fights on Saturday October 12, 2024 from 4.30pm.

Latino Night
There are more major fights to look forward to. The Latino Night fight happened at The Venue on November 16. The event saw Gilberto ‘Zurdo’ Ramirez take on Chris Billam-Smith.
Boulevard City is the biggest zone and it’s getting even bigger this season with more events. That includes 40 new experiences, including a stand-up comedy night with Martin Lawrence.
Anthony Hopkins Riyadh performance

The legendary actor Anthony Hopkins is coming to Riyadh. A video of Hopkins was shared on November 2024 confirming that he would perform an exclusive musical performance for Riyadh Season 2024. He’s currently making music for the gig at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London. Stay tuned for more.

Previously at Riyadh Season 2023
Riyadh Season 2023 began on Saturday October 28, 2023 with multiple undercard fights before the highly anticipated Tyson Fury v Francis Ngannou match-up. The brand-new Kingdom Arena lit up red, green and purple for the massive opening ceremony, which also featured performances by Becky G and Kanye West.

For the first time, you could enjoy at campfire at the luxe Riyadh Exit – an open-air space giving glamping a whole new meaning.
Additionally, dining destinations Ramla Terazza and Via Riyadh were also zones in 2023.
Riyadh Season 2023 tickets
Tickets have dedicated platform that specialised in all things entertainment called webook.com.
You could get tickets for as low as SAR45 for Boulevard City activities including World of Barbie and CR7 Experience inspired by Al Nassr‘s Ronaldo’s life and career. Most Boulevard City attractions were open daily from 5pm to midnight. There was also the epic WWE Experience and the returning Riyadh Toy Festival.
Boulevard World on the other hand was packed with family-friendly fun. Each attraction had a separate ticket but activities like BLVD Forest, Monopoly Lifesized, The Island of the Dolls and more had entry built into the individual tickets. You could even explore the three scary attractions for the price of one at the Season’s zone with the horror package ticket.
Each zone had its own opening and closing hours.
Tickets for the 2024 event have yet to be revealed.
Riyadh Season history
The event usually begins in October followed by Diriyah Season in November. Both typically end in December or January, but Riyadh Season could last for longer. Diriyah Season 2023-2024 included the Diriyah E-Prix, which zoomed in on Wednesday January 26, 2024.
It launched in 2019, and it has since been one of the largest Saudi Seasons. The season is divided into zones, each with its own theme and activities, as well as exciting live performances by international and local artists.
The 2022 event kicked off with Anne-Marie performing at the opening ceremony. The event was awarded a Guinness World Record for the most remote-operated drones launching fireworks simultaneously.
Foodies also have plenty to enjoy at the Saudi Seasons. Riyadh Season 2022 featured pop-ups from Carbone and CLAP and the Little Riyadh zone brought permanent restaurant openings like Joe and The Juice and Parkers in the Diplomatic Quarter.
New zones were also introduced in 2022 including Boulevard World, which had the largest man-made lake in the world, and Riyadh Sky which (yes, you guessed it) took diners straight into the clouds.
